Fact Universal S.A.L., a Lebanese company that provides back-office services for clients in the United States,

is seeking a Junior Support Developer to join our team This position supports our development and IT teams

in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing web applications and internal systems.

As a Junior Support Developer, you will assist in resolving technical issues, implementing system

improvements, and supporting software integration efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level

candidate to gain hands-on experience in software development and IT support within a dynamic

environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Application Support:

o Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to web applications and

software systems.

o Respond to and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

o Provide basic training and guidance to end-users as needed.

2. Frontend Assistance:

o Support the development of responsive web interfaces using basic HTML, CSS, and

JavaScript.

o Assist in maintaining and updating UI components under supervision.

o Conduct basic testing to ensure cross-browser compatibility.

3. Backend Assistance:

o Assist in maintaining server-side applications using technologies like PHP, ASP.NET, or

.NET Core.

o Work with senior developers to update databases and write simple queries.

o Help integrate third-party APIs and troubleshoot data exchange issues.

4. Code Quality and Documentation:

o Follow coding standards and best practices as guided by senior developers.

o Maintain clear and well-structured documentation for code and system processes.

o Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve coding skills.

5. System Optimization and Maintenance:

o Assist in monitoring system performance and identifying potential improvements.

o Help implement security patches and software updates.

o Provide input on usability and minor system enhancements.

6. Software Integration and Testing:

o Support the integration of third-party tools and software components.

o Conduct testing to validate system functionality and report bugs.

o Assist in the deployment of updates and minor application changes.

7. Agile Development and Collaboration:

o Participate in Agile team meetings, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.

o Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and senior developers.

o Follow task assignments and deadlines to ensure smooth project execution.

8. Learning and Growth:

o Actively engage in learning new technologies and best practices.

o Seek mentorship and guidance from senior developers to enhance technical skills.

o Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Education:

o BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

o Recent graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

2. Technical Skills:

o Basic understanding of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.

o Familiarity with backend languages such as PHP, ASP.NET, or .NET Core.

o Advanced Knowledge with SQL and basic database queries.

o Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

3. General Skills:

o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

o Good time management and ability to multitask.

o Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

o Basic understanding of Agile development practices.

4. Additional Skills:

o Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.

o Basic knowledge of web security best practices is a plus.

o Any internship or hands-on project experience is an advantage.

Candidate should be willing to work based on American Standard Eastern Time zone. This is not a

remote position. Salary is paid in Fresh US Dollars.
